Meet our Founder
Dr. Josie Gardner
Founder, The Institute for Visionary Women
Josie is an educator, writer, and facilitator working at the intersection of embodiment, social transformation, feminine wisdom, and mythic inquiry.Â
She brings over fifteen years of experience in international peace and conflict work, with a focus on collective trauma healing. She is practitioner of rites of passage facilitation, nervous system regulation, trauma-aware facilitation and embodiment.
Josie has always been most inspired when working with women, finding the spaces within and between women to be the most fertile, poetic, raw and connective wellsprings of creative and imaginative power.Â
