I'm Dr. Josie Gardner

For years, I felt too small for the woman I knew I could become.

My life didn’t support my wildest visions for myself and for the world. 

I felt pulled toward deeper purpose without losing myself to hustle, burnout or someone else's definition of success.

I couldn’t find spaces that spoke to both my outer, change-maker self and my inner, feminine, mythic self at the same time. So, I built the Institute for Visionary Women as this missing piece.

As a PhD researcher, educator, facilitator, and founder of the Institute for Visionary Women, I've spent years exploring the intersection of social and systems-wide change, embodiment, collective somatics, mythology, and women's empowerment.

The Visionary Archetype Framework is exactly what I wish I'd had sooner.

It helps women understand who they are in their potential, what they are here to contribute, and how they can become embodied visionaries sparking feminine-led change while in love with their lives.

But after working with leaders and visionaries for many years, I’ve come to see inherent patterns, or archetypes, across women all over the world.
